Two brothers and a shared passion for the hospitality industry form the foundation of Anderson Hospitality Group. It all started in the 1980s when the Anderson brothers, Jeff and John, decided to follow their father’s footsteps and break into the hospitality industry. The rest is history.
Jeff and John have similar hotel pedigrees. Both brothers are graduates of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and began their careers with Brock Hotel Corporation. They held numerous positions over a 20 year span with Hilton Hotel Corporation. John’s role when he departed Hilton was Senior Vice President of Operations where he led a team that operated approximately 85 Hotels (primarily Embassy Suites brand) with more than a billion dollars in revenue. Jeff finished his career with Hilton as the Vice President of Operations for the Southeast region.
Jeff began Anderson Hospitality group in 2012 with the Hilton Garden Inn in Bowing Green, Kentucky. The company currently manages The Hilton Garden Inn, The Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott, The Tru by Hilton, The Towne Place Suites by Marriott, and The Courtyard by Marriott in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and also The Courtyard by Marriott in Atlanta Vinings/ Galleria, and The Towne Place Suites by Marriott in Newburgh, Indiana. Anderson Hospitality Group has projects under construction in Franklin, TN and Bowling Green, KY.
After 35 years of working for others, John decided to join his brother Jeff, back in Bowling Green with Anderson Hospitality Group in March of 2016. Both believe that this partnership will only strengthen the operating culture of Anderson Hospitality Group and allowed the Anderson brothers to once again set roots in their home town.
Jennifer started in the hospitality industry at the Front Desk at the Hilton University of Florida, her alma mater, and for the next 15 years held many positions within Hilton Worldwide before leaving while Senior Director of Project and Change Management for Commercial Services. For most of her career, she has focused on communicating, training and deploying revenue management and sales tools and systems to Hilton Hotels globally. She, her husband and young son decided to move to Bowling Green, KY to be closer to family and she is excited to be part of Anderson Hospitality Group as Director of Revenue Management.
Cheyenne joined Anderson Hospitality Group in July of 2018 after graduating from Western Kentucky University in May of that same year with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. Cheyenne immediately found her passion when she took her first Human Resource course at WKU and decided Human Resources was the career path for her. Prior to joining AHG, Cheyenne worked with Houchens Industries for six years. She combined her work and school experiences and was able to hit the ground running in her new position.Cheyenne currently lives in Glasgow with her husband Adam and they are planning to make Bowling Green home in the near future. Cheyenne has had a very significant and positive impact in her short time with AHG and we look forward to growing as a team as we continue to add hotels to our portfolio.
